How should the selector switch be set when checking a resistive element coil for continuity?
a. to the AC volts position
b. to the lowest DC volts range, then to a higher range until an accurate reading is obtained
c. to the OHMS position
d. to the DC amps position
It should be set to (C), But if you need to ask, you shouldn’t be using a multimeter anyway!
Don’t forget when checking continuity on Ohms range, there is no voltage on the circuit!
